Approved Bylaws Revision (Approved Version - October 6, 2007)

Addendum to ICRHOA Bylaws: Policies, Procedures and Rules for ICR
As modified August 30, 2006 to comply with Colorado SB 06-89 and SB-05-100:
  1. Procedures for the adoption and amendment of policies, procedures and rules
  2. Collection of unpaid assessments
  3. Conduct of meetings
  4. Inspection and copying of association records by members
  5. Enforcement of covenants and rules, including notice and hearing procedures and schedule of fines
  6. Handling of conflicts of interest involving board members
  7. Reserve fund investment policy
  8. Alternative dispute resolution
  9. Cooperating with sellers in disclosure of information
COLORADO LAWS AND PROPOSED LEGISLATION CONCERNING HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATIONS

Two new bills were introduced in the Colorado State Legislature in 2008. Click the link for each one to read each bill:

HB08-1135 - Concerning Common Interest Communities, and, in connection therewith, invalidating covenants that prohibit building modifications to accomodate persons with disabliities, requiring due process in penalty asessment procedures, and providing for alternative dispute resolution.

HB08-1270 - Concerning the removal of restrictions on the use of energy efficiency measures in connection with real property
