Indian Camp Ranch Archaeological District Listed on National Register of Historic Places and Colorado State Register of Historic Properties
The Indian Camp Ranch Archaeological District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Colorado State Register of Historic Properties. The official designation took place on March 28, 2012, in recognition of this property’s contribution to the heritage of the State of Colorado.
Authorized under the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the National Register is part of a national program to coordinate and support public and private efforts to identify, evaluate, and protect our historic and archaeological resources.

BASKETMAKER COMMUNITIES PROJECT (2010-2017)
In partnership with the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, the Basketmaker Communities Project followed the inception, growth, and crystallization of the Basketmaker III period community on Indian Camp Ranch over a 150 year period. The study begain in 2010 and was concluded in 2017.
